देश हमारा -त्रिलोक सिंह ठकुरेला

सुखद, मनोरम, सबका प्यारा।
हरा, भरा यह देश हमारा॥

नई सुबह ले सूरज आता,
धरती पर सोना बरसाता,
खग-कुल गीत खुशी के गाता,
बहती सुख की अविरल धारा।
हरा, भरा यह देश हमारा॥

बहती है पुरवाई प्यारी,
खिल जाती फूलों की क्यारी,
तितली बनती राजदुलारी,
भ्रमर सिखाते भाई चारा।
हरा, भरा यह देश हमारा॥

हिम के शिखर चमकते रहते,
नदियाँ बहती, झरने बहते,
"चलते रहो" सभी से कहते,
सबकी ही आँखो का तारा।
हरा, भरा यह देश हमारा॥

इसकी प्यारी छटा अपरिमित,
नये नये सपने सजते नित,
सब मिलकर चाहे सबका हित,
यह खुशियों का आँगन सारा।
हरा, भरा यह देश हमारा॥

चींटी -त्रिलोक सिंह ठकुरेला

नन्हीं काली, हिम्मतवाली,
चींटी बड़ी निराली है ।
दौड़ लगाती, कभी न थकती,
वह कितनी बलशाली है ।।

बहुत अधिक मेहनत करती है,
लेकिन थोड़ा खाती है।
जब उसको गुस्सा आता है
हाथी से लड़ जाती है ।।

जल्दी जगती रोज सवेरे,
देर रात को सोती ।
खुद से अधिक भार ले जाती
बड़ी साहसी होती ।।

चींटी कहती - प्यारे बच्चो,
मिलकर कदम बढ़ाओ ।
मेहनत करो, न हिम्मत हारो,
जो चाहो वह पाओ।।

आओ मिलकर दीप जलाएँ -त्रिलोक सिंह ठकुरेला

आओ, मिलकर दीप जलाएँ।
अंधकार को दूर भगाएँ ।।

नन्हे नन्हे दीप हमारे
क्या सूरज से कुछ कम होंगे,
सारी अड़चन मिट जायेंगी
एक साथ जब हम सब होंगे,

आओ, साहस से भर जाएँ।
आओ, मिलकर दीप जलाएँ।

हमसे कभी नहीं जीतेगी
अंधकार की काली सत्ता,
यदि हम सभी ठान लें मन में
हम ही जीतेंगे अलबत्ता,

चलो, जीत के पर्व मनाएँ ।
आओ, मिलकर दीप जलाएँ ।।

कुछ भी कठिन नहीं होता है
यदि प्रयास हो सच्चे अपने,
जिसने किया, उसी ने पाया,
सच हो जाते सारे सपने,
फिर फिर सुन्दर स्वप्न सजाएँ ।
आओ, मिलकर दीप जलाएँ ।।

Magic Door -Amy

Once upon a time there was a little boy named Kulli.

He ate his breakfast and went to play with his friends. When he came back home he saw a door.

He wondered: "What is behind the door?."
He opened the door and he saw a bathroom. He closed the door and thought that this is a bathroom.
Then he simply said "Circus" and he heard some sound behind the door. When he opened the door he saw a Circus! He was amazed.

Then he ate his lunch and went to play again.

When he came back home, he opened the door again. This time he saw a Bedroom! He wondered: "What is happening with me?".
Then again he said "Circus" and opened the door and saw a Circus!
He understood, then, that he got what he wanted behind the door just by saying it.

He was so happy that he danced the whole day long.

नानी तेरी मोरनी को मोर ले गए
बाकी जो बचा था काले चोर ले गए

खाके पीके मोटे होके, चोर बैठे रेल में
चोरों वाला डिब्बा कट कर, पहुँचा सीधे जेल में

पापा - मुझे पतंग दिला दो -त्रिलोक सिंह ठकुरेला

पापा - मुझे पतंग दिला दो,
भैया रोज उड़ाते हैं।
मुझे नहीं छूने देते हैं,
दिखला जीभ, चिढ़ाते हैं॥

एक नहीं लेने वाली मैं,
मुझको कई दिलाना जी।
छोटी सी चकरी दिलवाना,
मांझा बड़ा दिलाना जी॥

नारंगी और नीली, पीली
हरी, बैंगनी,भूरी,काली।
कई रंग,आकार कई हों,
भारत के नक्शे वाली ॥

कट जायेंगी कई पतंगे,
जब मेरी लहरायेगी।
चंदा मामा तक जा करके
भारत-ध्वज फहरायेगी॥

The Unkind Soul-Dragger -Janaab

The Soul Dragger

for all ye there

unkind

in what you do
in what you eat
in what you say

there is a fiery rope
to drag your soul
on the road to hell

scream or moan
with a fish hook
through your lips
and nose

you shall bear
the pain of all ye killed
or culled
for taste, fun or gain

your pleas
or bending knees
shall not be heard
or seen
for there are no ears
or eyes
of the
soul-dragger.

तुझे दीप कहूं या तारा

गौरैय्या

घर में आई गौरैय्या ।
झूम उठा छोटा भैया ।।

गौरैय्या भी झूम गयी ।
सारे घर में घूम गयी ।।

फिर मुंडेर पर जा बैठी ।
फिर आंगन में आ बैठी ।।

कितनी प्यारी वह सचमुच ।
खोज रही थी शायद कुछ ।।

गौरैय्या ने गीत सुनाया ।
भैया दाना लेकर आया ।।

दाना रखा कटोरे में ।
पानी रखा सकोरे में ।।

My Rainbow Dance -Amy

Sun King Sun King,
Please come to
make my mother warm.
When my mother asks me,
"What are you doing?"
Then I will say,
"I - am making you warm."

When my mother is warm,
I will call the cloud to
make my mother cool.
When my mother asks me,
"What are you doing?"
Then I will say,
"I - am making you cool."

When my mother is cool,
I will call the rainbow.
When the rainbow comes,
we will both dance together!

ಬದುಕು ಬೆಳಗಲಿ
ಸಾಲು ದೀಪಗಳ ಬೆಳಕಿನಲಿ
ನಡೆಯುವೆನು ನನಗದೇ
ದೀಪಾವಳಿ

ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗೆ ಇರಲಿ
ಹೊಳೆವ ಹಣತೆಯ ಬೆಳಕು
ದಾರಿಯುದ್ದಕು ನಡೆವ
ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿ

ಇರಳು ಆಗಸದಲ್ಲಿ
ಇರಲಿ ತಾರೆಯ ಬೆಳಕು
ಹಣತೆ ಮಿನುಗಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿ
ನೆಲದೆದೆಯಲಿ

ಬಾನ ಬೆಳಕಿಲ್ಲಿ
ಮುತ್ತಿಡಲಿ ಹಣತೆಯನು
ಹಣತೆ ಮಿನುಗುತಿರಲಿ
ನೀರವದಲಿ

ಇರಲಿ ದೀಪಾವಳಿಯು
ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ನಮಗಿಲ್ಲಿ
ನೆಲಬಾನ ಸಿರಿಬೆಳಕ
ಸ೦ಗದಲ್ಲಿ !
