I miss you
Each and every day
I miss you
when I wake up
and in my walk.
I miss you
to tell Chickadee stories
you liked, when I told
Each and every day.

You smiled and hugged
Waited for me near door
You jumped and wagged
When I was home.
Your dream was my school,
when I was ready to go,
Each and every day.

I miss you
when it snows,
I miss you
when I see others with pets.
You were
My love,
My friend,
my family.
You are
in my heart
Each and every day.
