Meaning:
Forehand (कर) - the front of (अग्रे) - as in "fingers", is the residence of Laxmi (wealth),
the palm - middle (मध्ये) of forehand - is the residence of Saraswati (knowledge) - as we keep the books in the reading position on the palm,
the beginning (मूले) of the forehand - wrist joint - is where Govind (super god - that willed the universe to manifest) resides.
I revere my hand in the morning - which helps me get through the day.

Importance: This mantra is supposed to be recited as soon as one opens one's eyes in the morning. The subject is advised to keep his palms in open position, together like a book before opening the eyes and recite the mantra looking at the palms in reverence. Reciting it once is enough. Daily routine is emphasized for best results during the work day. When practiced regularly, it brings prosperity and mental peace to the subject. A difficult combination indeed!

Yasya krutyam na jaananti mantram vaa mantritam pare.
Krutamevasya jaananti sa vai pandit uchyate,

Yasya = whose. Krutyam = deeds. Na = not. Jaananti =
Know. Mantram = consultation. Vaa = or. Mantritam =
already consulted. Pare = later, afterwards. Krutam+eva +
asya. Krutam=done. Eva =really. Asya = this. JaananIi=
know.. Sa = that person. Vai = only. Pandira = a learned
person. Uchyate = is called.

i.e. A person , whose actions about a project undertaken by
him are not known to others during the stages of consultations,
finalisation, and implementation , and they know about it when
it is completed, is truly called a learned person.
